“I do not at all understand the mystery of Grace - only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us.”
– Anne Lamott
I am utterly overwhelmed by my God's grace and mercy tonight. It has slowly been becoming more and more real to me what I am doing this summer. The more I think about it, the more I realize how unworthy and blessed I am to be able to experience God's hand working in new and extraordinary ways this summer.
As I was recently discussing with some fellow students from Flood; throughout life, we usually don't know what or when those challenging, stretching, life changing moments or events will be. So how do you prepare for something when you already know it will change, shape, and forever alter your life and the way you view the world? I know that I can't; at least not on my own. J It is the very One who is placing me in
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my Light, my Strength, my Song
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest
drought and storm
What heights of love,
what depths of peace
When fears are stilled,
when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
In Christ alone

Rachel, Well it sure is fun being on your site seeing how God has prepared you for this trip. I miss you so much and hope that you get an opportunity to share what's going on over there soon. I looked you up on my globe the other day just to pretend to know what it's like on your adventure. Love you.
